SILVER LEARNINGS: Ten days remain … we’d love to hear from you!

As always, you come through for us. And we couldn’t be more grateful. There are just ten days remaining to our June campaign and we’re hoping there are still a bunch more donations out there. Might one of those be yours? If so, thanks in advance for becoming part of Silver Learnings. It will be because of you that we can turn love into action.

Throughout Silver Learnings, we’ve been hearing from some folks who are very special to us (like you!) sharing some of their experiences during the pandemic. So many lessons, even from life’s toughest moments. We hope you find the reading worthwhile.

The LevinsThis week’s writing comes from The Levins. Ira and Julia Levin are modern-day minstrels who travel the world bringing music and a whole lot of joy to their audiences. Overflowing with optimism, we wondered what they’d make of the pandemic. And they do not disappoint. The Levins’ writing appears here.

In case you have some catching up to do, here are links to our other guest writers: Molly RodriguezJoe Casario, Evangelo Maniotis and Marta Kauffman, Keron Siriri and Jill Abusch. We hope you’re enjoying Silver Learnings as much as we are!

As always, you’re invited to direct your donation to our Arts Fund, Social Justice FundJewish Life Fund or General Fund.

We continue to miss Jonah and to feel grateful: a) that we had him in our lives; and, b) that he’s inspired us to do good stuff in his name. The Jonah Maccabee Foundation has promised to honor Jonah’s life by “turning love into action.” We are humbled to be your partner in working for sustained meaningful change in our society.

Thank you for supporting our Silver Learnings campaign.

Very sincerely,
Ellen, Billy, Aiden, Katie and Mark
